A confluence or to be in confluence or is it in this case to be within confluence, as an influence? I love the longstanding and confluent relationship that the four artists have with each other, and how their practices flow here in unison. Although the material forms used are so diverse Anne Graham, Henry Lewis, Hilarie Mais and NOT approach their making with a confluetic vein, if there is such a word.

It is almost like these artists have put some specific data into their own machine and produced a graph as a result through unique material form. The gallery becomes the data processing centre. Yet a place for us to visually explore breath, colour, line, number, generative force, place, bodily occupation, landscape, formation, toxicity, consumption and primal desire.  Key outputs are a refreshing approach to such data interpretations, with the result being driven to focus on your own experience in engagement rather than optimism.

I hope you will enjoy experiencing the practices of these well-established artists and allow yourself to become awash in the flow that has been created and while viewing , be under that influencer.
